Mabel's Vintage Tearooms opened within Reveley Lodge, a listed Victorian property in Bushey Heath, in Spring 2016 and we have recently been named as best local restaurant for afternoon tea by the Jewish News.
The tearooms are located in the beautifully preserved Billiard Room, featuring a permanent collection of original oil paintings by Albert Chewett, who was a past owner of Reveley Lodge. This includes 'Teatime', a painting of Mabel the housemaid serving afternoon tea, and after whom we named our tearooms. To create a truly authentic atmosphere our food is served on vintage china by staff dressed in traditional uniform and accompanied by music from the 1920's, 30's and 40's.
Our tearooms can be hired for private functions and make a memorable setting for special occasions.
